The Awakened Brain- The overlap between neuroscience and spirituality

Do we as humans beings live across dimensions of spirituality? Well, a range of clinical scientific studies have proven this fact that state a range of transcendental relationships are shared between human beings,primarily with God and second with other humans. It is said that 2/3rds of our spiritual consciousness is inherited from our parental DNA. further which is a cumulation of our grandparental genetics.

Chalking an example of self,my maternal side of the family have had strong intuition,awakened sensory perception and a close resonance to higher power and meditative practices across generations is a commonality. My grandmother used to wake up at 3.30am daily to start her spiritual routine such as meditation,reading the Brahmakumari Murli which is the book of spiritual teachings of God;likewise my aunt also followed a similar practice of early morning meditation and listening to The Shabd,the divine sound that reaches the Soul and connection to Sadhguru (the spiritual teacher).

Having said that, my awakening that took place in the year 2020,got me onto the path of awareness ,the higher power,the Universe,along with other spiritual practices. In my earlier article,I discussed about the switch between the hemispheres of the brain that occurs during an awakening. I have always been a logical,numerical oriented individual for the longest time and took my life decisions on intellect. During the year 2020, having going through the brain switch of becoming more right brained oriented,there was a crash in my energy body that lasted as long as 10 months.

Needless to say, the level of discomfort,anxiety,bodily sensations created a nervous system panic. All which led me to lose my life purpose. The spiritual depression that gets embodied in the energy body comes in like a chapter break to expand the other way; the way that is unusual. One gets pushed by the Universe to shed our old limited conditioning of viewing the world through a tunnel vision.

This brings me to pop a question as to why does the spiritual body go through these ebbs and flows of energy? The answer is to reach to a level of elevated consciousness. The range of unsettling emotions are just a doorway to push the soul beyond ego-based perceptions to a deeper and expanded comprehension of self and reality.
