Have you ever had an experience where you are not sure if you are awake or you are still dreaming? It feels like you are in living the dream in reality!!! Welcome to Lucid dreaming!!!
Lucid dreaming is a bridge developed between the external brain consciousness and the psyche that extends to the spiritual consciousness. From an energy perspective, lucid dreaming is an intimate dance with our higher chakras; mainly the Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra.
These higher energy centres are the portals to the spiritual realms as once we dream lucidly, we establish a profound dimension of extensions.
Lucid dreams can range from short fleeting moments to longer, more detailed experiences lasting for hours. It is coined as a transpersonal experience due to the incubation of kundalini awakening, further leading to deeply felt transformative effects that last across many years. Lucid dreaming,in a simplified format explains how well can one remember the dream through complete awareness.
In a dream state,we have minimal resistance on our mind and body, thus our mind becomes receptive to guidance and experiences that our soul needs to have for a spiritual acceleration. On the Kundalini journey, dreams possess spiritual themes, symbols, encounters with divine beings and divine animals that transfer a message or a blessing or healing.
Lucid dreaming can be encapsulated in 5 distinct methods discussed below:
#1 Mnemonic-Induced Lucid Dreaming: Mnemonic refers to memory retention which is a mentally rehearsing act of dreaming and flow state. This encapsulates of setting the intention to remember to do something. While someone is dreaming, the dream state is accompanied by an intention that creates human realisation of the dream.
#2 Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming: Acronymed as WILD,Wake-induced would be conscious awareness retention where a person is neither awake nor sleeping and experiences a dream. In this type of lucid dreaming, there is a hypnagogia imagery that takes over the state of mind, where the dreamer can view flowing blobs of patterns and colours. These hypnagogic images create sounds and sensations rapidly forming and reforming more like an amoeba.
#3 Tholey's Combined Technique(TCT): This includes reflection, intention and autosuggestion which explain thinking back upon one's consciousness and analysing the dream event. Intention os linked to visualisation of the dream scenarios that creates both a sensory and mental impression of the dream on the subconscious. The Combined technique discussing about setting intentions by present focussing and future focussing which are elements of reflection with future intentions. Dissecting this means that what will the future manifestation be and coincide based on the present circumstances.
#4 Combined Technique: As the name suggests, when all the 3 aforementioned techniques are implemented together, the manifestation accelerates subconsciously.
Finally, lucid dreaming helps one to tap into their fundamental connectedness with everything in the Universe. Bulkeley maps spiritual power of dreaming that unlocks the sacred truths reveals stuck in our subconscious minds. Thus, which technique resonates with your mind and consciousness?
