Is Karma Behavioural? Cycle Breaking is what is to be embraced

Simply put, karma is the inventory of our deeds. Karma serves as a harsh whipsplash in the face of the humans to consciously observe our old conditioning and wounding that bleeds into relationship patterns in the form of unconscious behavioural projections. Studies denoted that has two action oriented components; (i) one's bare behaviour, and (ii) one's intention accompanying that behaviour which includes physical action, thoughts and speech. As rightly quoted by Lord Buddha,
"Intention is karma". Each piece of Karma we untangle,we attain greater relief and freedom.
I would like to unravel the depth of our unconscious behaviour as humans that loops into karmic cycles.
(i) Unconscious Repetition- A lot of us tend to fall into karmic loops in relationships,be it at family level, work relationship level, romance level and others. There is an unconscious repetition of same emotional pain with different people, same disappointment with different situation as the same fear of rejection and abandonment slips into the energetic dynamic.
Human psyche is drawn to what is familiar, which is an unresolved version of our childhood that act as a mirror to confront our survival skills.
(ii) Acting from Desire and not Dharma- Decisions that stem from an area of greed, validation, fear of loss and need for control creates strong karma. These are addictions for the nervous system that cause momentary dopamine rushes. Addictions are all actions stemming from selfish desires that reinforce ego that becomes karma where as,if one acts from a place of natural law, one's action align with pure intentions. Thus, misalignment occurs when one operates from a place of selfish motives and impatience.
(iii) Emotional Reactivity creates Karma- When we react on certain situations, mindlessly, fleeting feelings turn into unconscious habitual actions that bind each individual in repetitive cycles that have cause and effect. For instance, overreacting to praise, rejection, success or insult, binds the mind to the event that leaves a psychological imprint on the subconscious. Contrairly, without attachment to words, the energy gets transmuted as an experience rather than a wound.
(iv) Egoic Doership- In simple terms, when one comes from a place of "I Did This" or "This is mine", our identity sets into a default pattern that makes an individual act through one's mind, body, circumstance, other people and timing. The repetition of patterns, thus becomes one's identity and karma. When once gets attached to ownership rather than experiencing events, Karma is created. Non doership creates correct effort with craving, doership creates attachment with fear of loss.
(v) Living someone else's Dharma- When the personality acts against the soul purpose, known as acting out of the basic nature to fit an external standard, the body becomes tensed and resents it. Overtime, this becomes tension in the energy body. The tension occurs due to suppressed conflict that seeks expression. Hence, same situations and same patterns are cycled with new people.
This shows up in the form of people pleasing, comparisons with others, seeking for approval over one's inner truth. Thus, each time one trades alignment for acceptance, karma is created.
(vi) Seeking Validation through Suffering and Sacrifice-Karma persists as approval that feels safer than authenticity. When there is an intention and attachment behind the action, karma is created. For instance, "I did so much","I endured so much" is a hidden behaviour to the inner voice of "If I suffer, I will be valued", :If I keep giving, someone will see my worth". This results in inauthentic behaviour and abandonment of the soul wherein the action does look noble, but the motive is not as clean as it carries an expectation of suffering karma.
(vii) Refusing to Let Go of Control- Fear of losing control transmutes into micromanaging people and situations. When the mind and soul are tense and vigilant, the behaviour of an individual resists uncertainty that makes the person look for guarantees before moving in any situation in life.
The belief of wanting to control the outcome, creates karma. Individuals who have control issues, they tend to overplan, overthink and over manage plans and outcomes. This makes the mind tighten up which leads to frustration and resistance when any change shows up.
To reduce this karmic loop, one must embrace allowing uncertainty without panic, release ownership of outcomes and act from a place of surrender.
Thus,Karma is definitely seen in our unconscious behaviours which is a contract of the wheel of karma. The moment one drops the grip on the wheel,a radical shift and change occurs where resistance ends. Efforts continue but fears dissolves and action flows but identity no longer clings.
Thus, surrender is the end of a karmic cycle.
