The Spiritual facet of Cannabis- Does this plant have resonance with the Universe?

I am going to get a lot of wrath for writing on a taboo topic!! Cannabis,for too long,has been villainized and degraded in the eyes of authority. The ostracization has blinded the masses regarding the medicinal property this plant possesses. In Taoism,Cannabis was included in rituals with incense burners,used to return to a non-ego driven state of mind. Quite a word!!! Non-ego driven state of mind;which simply means a selfless and peaceful state where one is not armoured by the mind. Another school of thought that intrigued me was that in Buddhism, consumption of Cannabis leads an individual to the path of enlightenment,whereas in the Old Testament of the Bible,the plant has been associated with God's Holy Anointing Oil made by Moses.

Circling back to spirituality and the usage of Cannabis, says that consumption of mild quantities of the plant opens the doors of perception as it repatterns thoughts and cleanses old conditionings. Alongside,it expands the unconscious mind and makes the soul dive into the shadow depths to cleanse old realisations that no longer serve the soul purpose. This transpersonal experience pushes consumers to altered states of consciousness. Ancient Egyptians used cannabis for religious ceremonies as it plays the role in communicating with the deities and guiding one's soul through afterlife. Parallely,Cannabis usage deepens the soul's unity with the Universe and enables higher ascension. Having said that, there has to be a sacred approach to utilize Cannabis as plant medicine which when consumed under prescribed monitoring increases blood flow to the pineal gland. This instantly creates a switch in the brain hemispheres from the rational to the intuitive. The deeper layers of consciousness gets unlocked by consumption of Cannabis.
