This morning, I have been feeling severely exhausted and disassociated. I had my breakfast and chai and was thinking about the concept of manifestation. Started Youtube and happen to stumble upon a Lewis Howes Youtube video interviewing fourth dimensional thinker, Billy Carson on "How one cannot Manifest if we are Full of Trauma!". The main theme of the video has deeply etched in my memory on how trauma can clearly block our manifestations. In the video, Billy Carlton states that trauma puts people in survival mode that blocks intentions of manifestation. Survival mode occurs from a clear place of lack, having the "bare minimum" mindset that further, manifests into "poverty mindset".

Trauma is a massive anchor that weighs down on manifestations as avoidance and bypassing of difficult emotions inversely creates a nervous system overload. This very nervous system overload disrupts the body's ability to process and respond to stimuli causing a severe hindrance in our manifestations. A mental health counsellor has stated the "Prolonged exposure to stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline, which are released due to emotional trauma, disrupt the neurotransmitter balance and neuronal communication in the brain that can lead to impaired cognitive function and mood regulation.

Bringing in my two cents of experience. As a child, I have seen severe volatility in my home environment, conflicts that caused me to be perpetually frightened due to sudden screaming, that has put me in a fight or flight response mode. This is learned behaviour!! This very learned behaviour has bled into my adulthood experiences as well because my nervous system has etched this as a core memory. Simplifying this, I would state this as stored trauma in my body.

Furthermore, the ground breaking Adverse Childhood Experiences Study(2021) shows that at least 70% of the population has had at least 1 traumatic event as a child. The key to manifesting is the ability to have emotional authenticity as our brain functions and body functions work in tandem, the more we are emotionally authentic the more the nervous system is relaxed and speeds up the manifestation. The brain is said to block memories of traumatic experiences such as defense coping mechanisms that manifests into changed behaviour which causes irritability, mood swings and social withdrawal.

So bottom line here is,if something is not working in our life,it goes back to our childhood, the traumas we have experienced and the feelings that have been programmed in our neurological system.
